Where the pages disagree. The sports split and the slots-only line cannot both be the whole first match.
Bet types Gbets actually names
- Sports on the homepage: football, rugby, cricket, tennis and basketball. Golf is on the sports page. Football copy names the English Premier League, La Liga, the PSL and internationals.
- Soccer tools listed on the homepage: Super Bet (request boosted odds), Follow My Team, Cash Out, Bet Builder, Top Stats, and a weekly Boosted Odds selection on match-winner prices.
- Pre-match accumulators: the homepage says multi-bet boosts of up to 30 percent. The terms describe a separate soccer Win Boost of up to 600 percent. Do not merge them.
- In-play has its own page. That page invites live prices and does not list markets. The FAQ’s football definitions are labelled unofficial, so they are not repeated here.
- Cricket: Howzat Multi Leg, a multi of 3 or more legs, minimum stake R200. Further rules were not on the card.
- Also named on the promotions index, without full rules on the cards: 2 Up Early Payout, MultiBet Bundles, 3-Goal Shield, an NBA promo, and 7 Leg Saver (“lose by 1 and get your stake back”).
- Bets placed with bonus money are not eligible for Cash Out or Edit My Bet, and the match bonus cannot be used on live games.
Soccer Win Boost, from the terms
- Only soccer accumulators qualify. A leg counts only at odds of 1.30 or more.
- The boost is calculated on multiples. The terms say a minimum of two legs for the boost to apply, and also that the boost starts from 3 percent for three events and rises, as legs are added, up to 600 percent.
- Pre-match legs only. Singles, live in-play, outrights and tournament bets are excluded.
- The boost portion of a winning bet cannot exceed R600,000.
- If a selection is void, only the remaining qualifying legs count, and the boost can change.
- Early cash out forfeits the Win Boost. The boost is meant to show on the betslip. Gbets says it will not add one manually.
- You must be over 18, with an active account. Retail shops are excluded. Gbets can revoke the promotion.
The sports half of the welcome match
On the journey terms, the first deposit match is described as 100 percent up to R10,000, split evenly, with up to R5,000 on sports. Wagering is 4x. The bonus applies to a single or a multi with 3 or more selections, each at minimum odds of 1.50. The maximum bonus issued is R5,000. Maximum payout is 5x the deposit, capped at R25,000. It expires 5 days from activation. The shorter welcome pages instead call the first match 100 percent up to R5,000, slots only. That conflict is set out on the welcome bonus page.
A later sentence on the journey terms says the deposit-match bonus must be wagered at minimum odds of 0.70. The general terms, clause 14.1, separately say a deposit must be turned over at least once before withdrawal, at minimum odds of 5/10 (1.5), and that a bet under those odds does not count. Three different odds floors appear in one rulebook. The betslip and the bonus screen are the ones that will be applied.
Bonus stakes are excluded from Cash Out and Edit My Bet. They also cannot be used on Lucky Numbers or live games. While the bonus wallet still holds an active bonus, withdrawal is blocked.
Cashback of up to 10 percent includes sports losses as well as casino losses. The deposit, the Thursday and Monday windows, and the R100 allocation floor are on the casino page, because the terms put both products in one calculation.
The general terms say Gbets can accept bets placed within the borders of South Africa. The customer is 18 or older, a natural person, and not on the national exclusion register. Payout bullets cap sport at R2 million per the list in the terms, and clause 13.8 caps sports at R2,000,000.
